Wash-A-Teria: Bristol’s Trusted Laundry Destination Since 1978

For over four decades, Wash-A-Teria has proudly served the Bristol, VA community as a reliable, locally owned and operated laundromat. With 45 washers and 37 dryers in a variety of sizes, we’re equipped to handle everything from everyday laundry to oversized loads. Our Wash, Dry & Fold service makes laundry effortless — just drop it off and let us take care of the
rest.

We offer a comfortable, convenient experience with free Wi-Fi, TVs, vending machines, and air conditioning to keep you cool while you wait. Our facility is monitored by 16 security cameras, ensuring a safe environment 24/7. Additional amenities include a soap station, ATM, lottery machine, and clean bathrooms available from 8am to 8pm.

At Wash-A-Teria, we believe laundry should be simple, fast, and stress-free. Whether you're tackling a week's worth of clothes or handling bulky bedding, we’ve got everything you need to get the job done — or let us do it for you!
With 45 high-capacity washers (ranging from 20 to 80 lbs) and 37 powerful dryers (30 to 75 lbs), there’s always a machine ready when you are. Our Drop-Off Wash, Dry & Fold service is perfect for busy days — just bring it in and we’ll take care of the rest. Need dry cleaning? We offer that too, upon request.
Our friendly service attendants are available during specified hours to assist with anything you need. While you wait, enjoy free Wi-Fi, catch a show on one of our TVs, or grab a snack from our vending machines. We’ve got a soap station, ATM, lottery machine, and air-conditioned comfort to make your visit pleasant. Bathrooms are available from 8am to 8pm, and our 23 parking spaces make access easy.

I stopped here as it was near our breakfast choice - I have never been in a cleaner laundromat! We often wash clothes while on vacation and at most other laundromats -- it's chaos, filth and grime. Not here! There is not a speck of trash laying around, all machines seem to be in working order and everything is CLEAN. There are no vagrants, screaming kids or loiterers in sight. The owner is on site, actively engaging with customers as he ensures that everything is clean and orderly. Another gentleman is sweeping the front walk and inside the facility. Please consider patronizing this laundromat if you are in need. I would recommend it 100%!

What are your hours of operation, and when is the attendant on duty?

**Hours of Operation:**
- Open 24 Hours, 7 days a week
- The bathroom remains open until 8 PM

**Service Attendant On Duty:**
- Monday to Friday: 8 AM - 4 PM & 6 PM - 8 PM
- Saturday and Sunday: 8 AM - 3:30 PM & 6 PM - 8 PM

*Please note that hours may vary on certain days, and any changes will be posted in advance.*

What amenities are available while I wait?

We provide free Wi-Fi, TVs, vending machines, air conditioning, an ATM, change machines, and a lottery machine for your convenience.

How can I pay for the washers/dryers?

You can use Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, debit cards, Android Pay, Samsung Pay, Apple Pay, cash, and coins to operate our machines.

What type of machines do you have?

We have all commercial washers available in 20, 40, 60, and 80 lb capacities, and commercial dryers in 30, 45, and 75 lb capacities.

What security measures are in place?

We have enhanced security with cameras and a staff attendant on duty until 8 PM. The bathroom remains open until 8 PM as well.
